I hope you are doing well and enjoying your summer. It has been hot and rainy, that’s for sure. I haven’t been able to join in on may rides due to work but am enjoying seeing all the pictures of the fun the club has been having.
A little business – this year, the positions of President and Secretary will be open. The Nominations committee will be meeting in a couple months and will be looking for people for these positions. The club needs people to fill the board slots and if asked, I hope you will consider heling out.
We have some fun events coming up and hope you’ll be able to attend them.
LOS Silver Comet Anniversary ride – Sept 7-8th. There’s an opportunity to spend the night and ride both days or just ride on the 7th. Please let Cindy Allen know if you’ll be coming and if you want to spend the night. Cindy’s email is: cinallen@gmail.com and her number is 770-298-9026. An email was sent yesterday with more details on this event.
FERST/Lewis Grizzard Bike Ride – Oct 6th – Besides being a great cause to support by riding, LOS has also staffed the Senoia SAG stop in downtown Senoia. This will be in the morning of the 6th, under an awing for shade, manning the snack table, answering questions and cheering on the riders. If you can help out, please let Cindy Allen know.

I’m waiting to hear back from the admins to see if they still offer the $10 off for group registrations. If you are interested in riding, let me know and I’ll get with you to get your form and check/cash. I’ll need to get the registrations in the mail by August 28th. Any questions, please give me a call at (321) 223-8857. My address is 205 Magnolia Place Way, Senoia, GA 30276, if you want to go ahead and mail your form (both sides) and your check made out to Claxton-Evans County Chamber of Commerce, please send me a message letting me know it is in the mail.

LOS Christmas Party – Dec 8th – 2:00-4:00pm at Faith Lutheran Church (same as last year). Mark your calendars and details to follow.
