I received the following message from Southside Cycling Club about the Brooks Century ride.  The date is May 18th which is the same day as our annual Spin-off.  More info on the Spin-Off in the next email.  Here's the info from SCC:

The SouthSide Cycling Club is excited to bring back the Brooks Century on May 18th after almost a 20-year hiatus.  This ride is to benefit local youth cycling teams and bike projects.
 
DESCRIPTION:
Your ride will travel on low-speed roads in Fayette County from Brooks, Georgia past historic farms in Woolsey and Inman, North Fayetteville to the Piedmont Fayette Wellness Center in Trilith Village - the home of Trilith Studio. The ride continues through Tyrone and Peachtree City, returning to Brooks.  Century riders after a SAG will continue onward to finish their ride back at Brooks.
This well-marked ride is fully supported with parking, registration, cue sheets, and three SAG (Support and Gear) stops with food & on-site mechanical services sponsored by Atlanta Trek and Senoia Bicycle.  Mobile SAG support by Roam & Roll Adventures.  
Steel Heritage Ride - riders of vintage bicycles are invited to participate.  There will be a special, covered display area to show off the vintage steeds when you return from your ride to socialize, assisted by Peachtree State Classic Cycling.
RIDE OPTIONS:    12 / 25 / 37 / 64 (Metric Century) / 100 (Century) miles.
POST RIDE:  After your ride, enjoy a hot lunch onsite by Christo's Pizza and cheer your friends on to their finish.  Free ride recovery assistance offered by Corrective Chiropractic Tyrone.  There is plenty of space for team tent set-up.  The nearby Town of Brooks Farmers Market will be open from 9am to 1pm.

ROUTES:   Cue sheets and maps files highlighted with SAG and public restrooms along the route.

10:30am    SAG Stop#1 at Trilith closes 
11:30am    Hot lunch begins
12:00pm    Latest time for 12 / 25 /37 mile routes to start
12:00pm    SAG Stop#2 at Peachtree City closes
2:30pm    SAG Stop#3 at Brooks closes
3:30pm    Hot lunch ends 
REGISTRATION:

Online registration, including day-of-event on-site registration by electronic payment.  This is a rain or shine event. No event refunds will be permitted.  Event insurance is available.
SWAG:  All registered ride participants will receive a SWAG Bag (Stuff We All Get) on the day of the ride at the on-site sign-in table.  
VOLUNTEERS:  Volunteers are important to the success of all bicycle events.  If you know of anyone that would like to volunteer for even just a few hours, a group, team or organization, please let us know or use the Brooks Century Volunteer Sign Up. Volunteers who want to also ride are eligible for a special 30% discount.  Please contact us before paying to sign up to help and receive your special discount coupon.
