07/16/2026 -  RE: Ladies On Spokes update

Hi everyone - 

I just wanted to update you on where we are with LOS.  I have notified the secretary of state and the IRS that we are no longer an official entity and so they have been closed out.  I took a check for $175 (checkbook balance) to Carter yesterday who will give the Bike Coweta for us and have it go towards some of their children programs.  I mentioned helmets or where the funds were most needed and he appreciated our donation.  I've included the picture. Once the check clears, I will close out the checking account, which is the last order of business on behalf of Ladies On Spokes, Inc.  

We still have the website for another year and a half and of course the Facebook page. I still do watch the FB page and do get one or two people each month asking to join in.  I've been traveling and not riding much, but do hope that will change soon.  I'm ready to get back on my bike and appreciate all the rides you guys have been posting.  I'm definitely missing out on some great fellowship!!
